What is cross-posting?

Cross-posting is publishing the same piece of content to more than one social media platform, ideally adjusted to fit each platform's format and audience.

Why it matters

It saves time, but identical posts everywhere can look out of place: each platform has its own length limits, image sizes and tone. Good cross-posting keeps the idea and adapts the delivery.

Example

A product launch goes to Instagram as a carousel, to LinkedIn as a short story about why you built it, and to X as a single line with the link.
