DataReportal's estimate of social media use in Pakistan, as of October 2025.
79.9 million
Active social media user identities in Pakistan in October 2025, equal to 31.2 percent of the population, up 16 million (+25.0 percent) on late 2024.
"User identities" are accounts, not confirmed people. DataReportal tries to remove duplicates and non-human accounts, but says the figure may not represent unique individuals. DataReportal also says its method may only count the platform with the largest audience, which is why this figure matches TikTok's adult ad reach.

Latest monthly figures (September 2026)

What this means for a small business
- Lead with short vertical video. TikTok and YouTube reach the most people in Pakistan, so make vertical video your main format and reuse the same clips as Facebook and Instagram Reels.
- Design for phones and patchy connections. Nearly all broadband in Pakistan is mobile, so use large text, add captions for sound-off viewing and keep files light.
- Don't drop Facebook. It still reaches about as many people as YouTube and its ad reach grew over the past year, so keep your Page active for local customers and enquiries.
- Check who you're selling to. Every platform's audience in Pakistan is mostly male; YouTube and Instagram have the highest share of women, while Facebook, Messenger and X have the lowest.
- Plan around the local calendar. Ramadan, both Eids, Pakistan Day, Independence Day and Quaid-e-Azam Day are the dates local customers expect to hear from brands, so prepare those posts weeks ahead.
Knowing where your customers are is half of it; the other half is posting there every week. Make a post with the free generator or let Zolyp plan and write the week for you.
