Who can publish Articles on X?
X's Articles page says publishing is open to X Premium and Premium+ subscribers, subscribers to the Plus, Premium, Super and Ultra plans on The X Subscription, Premium Business and Premium Organizations, and that Articles are available globally. X's Premium page is less clear: it lists Articles among Premium+ benefits but also says publishing is limited to Premium subscribers. Check what your plan shows before you pay for one. Anyone on X can read and share a published Article, within the audience you choose.

What does X recommend for a good Article?
- Start with a clear purpose: what should the reader think, feel or do afterwards?
- Write a specific title, a strong first sentence and use a relevant header image
- Make it easy to skim: paragraphs of 2 to 4 lines, a subheading every 3 to 5 paragraphs, lists and the key point in bold
- Write like you're talking to a friend, in a consistent voice
- Back up claims with examples or evidence. You can embed your own posts
- Edit hard: X suggests cutting 20 to 30% of the words
- End with a takeaway, a question or a call to action

How do you get an Article read?
Our suggestion for a small business: use Articles for evergreen pieces customers keep asking about, such as how your service works or a buying guide, and link to them in replies.
- Post a short teaser a few hours before you publish
- Pin the new Article to your profile, especially for the first 24 to 72 hours
- Share key excerpts as posts that link back to the full piece
- Reply to early readers
- Reshare older Articles when they become relevant again
- For subscriber-only Articles, select Publish, choose Subscribers under Choose your audience, then Publish again

Why can't you publish an Article?
- Your plan doesn't include Articles. X's pages disagree on exactly which tiers do, so check the plan details
- You're in the app. X's steps are for the Articles tab on x.com
- Your Article disappeared after you started editing: editing unpublishes it until you republish
- Followers can't open it: the audience may be set to Subscribers only
