How do you post as the Page, not as yourself?
Facebook treats you and your Page as separate profiles. If you post while you're in your personal profile, the post appears from you. Once you've switched, your Page's profile picture shows in the top right, and anything you post, comment or react to appears from the Page until you switch back the same way. To switch:
- Log in to Facebook and click your profile photo in the top right.
- Click See all profiles.
- Select the Page you want to switch into.

How do you post on a Facebook Page from a computer?
Meta says a post you create from your Page on Facebook is always public. If you want to change who can see it, create it in Meta Business Suite instead (next section). Meta's steps for a Page post from Facebook:
- Switch into the Page you want to use.
- Click your Page's profile picture in the top right, then click your Page's name again to go to the Page.
- Click Meta Business Suite in the left menu.
- Create your post, then click Next.
- Review your post settings and click Post.

How do you post from Meta Business Suite on a computer?
Business Suite gives you more control: separate text for Facebook and Instagram, privacy settings, scheduling and drafts. Meta's steps:
- Go to Meta Business Suite and click Create post, from the home page or the Content tab.
- Under Post to, select your Facebook Page (and Instagram, if you want it there too).
- Under Media, add photos or video.
- Under Post details, write your text, and add a location or other options with the icons below.
- Under Privacy settings, choose Public or Restricted.
- Click Publish to post now, Schedule to post later, or Finish later to save a draft.

How do you post on a Facebook Page from your phone?
In the Facebook app, switch into the Page the same way (tap your profile picture, then See all profiles) and create the post from the Page. To schedule, use the Meta Business Suite app. Meta says you need at least partial access and to be assigned to the Page to post from the app, and people with task access can only create Page posts from Business Suite, not from Facebook itself. In the app:
- Open the Meta Business Suite app and tap Content in the menu bar at the bottom.
- Choose the type of content at the top: Posts, Reels or Stories.
- Tap Create, then add your text and media.
- Tap Next.
- Tap Publish now, or tap Schedule for later, pick the date and time and tap Schedule.

How do you schedule a Page post or save a draft?
Scheduling is free in Business Suite. From your Page, click Meta Business Suite, then Create post, add your content, turn on the Set date and time toggle next to Scheduling options, pick a date and time and click Schedule. Click Active times for suggested times.
Meta allows a publish time between 20 minutes and 29 days ahead, in your current time zone. Scheduled posts appear in Planner, where you can edit, duplicate, reschedule, move to drafts or delete them. Our Facebook scheduling guide covers this in more detail.
Drafts work similarly. On a computer, you can only save drafts in Meta Business Suite: click Finish later while creating a post, then find it under Content, Drafts. In the Facebook app, Meta says you can only save one Page post as a draft at a time.

What makes a good Facebook Page post?
Getting the button right is the easy part. A few habits help posts earn reactions:
- Lead with the useful part in the first line, since most people decide in a glance whether to keep reading.
- Use your own photos of real products, people and places.
- Ask a question people want to answer, but avoid "comment YES" style prompts, which Meta demotes as engagement bait.
- Mix formats across the week: photos, short videos (shared as reels), and the occasional text-only post.
- Post at a steady pace you can keep, and check Insights monthly to see what worked.

Posting to your Page with Zolyp
Zolyp is our product, so weigh this section with that in mind. Zolyp publishes to your Facebook Page as the Page, keeps each caption within 5,000 characters, supports alt text on photos, can post a first comment for you, and lets you edit a live post's text afterwards.
Zolyp plans the week across your content themes, writes the captions and designs the visuals against your Brand Brain (your tone, colours and rules, saved once), then schedules and publishes to Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Google Business, X, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, and Threads. You review and approve the week, and Autopilot lets you hand off publishing theme by theme once you trust the output. Plans that create the posts start at $29 a month, with a 3-day free trial and no card required.
