What happened to X Verified Organizations?
X's old Verified Organizations help page now redirects to Premium Business. The product does the same core job: it verifies an organisation's account and lets it vouch for related accounts, such as staff, brands or support handles. Government bodies have a separate version, Premium Organizations, with a grey checkmark.

How do you apply for Premium Business?
X's sign-up process, from its help centre:
- Sign up from X's Premium Business page and add your eligibility details to the form.
- Add your payment details (credit card).
- Wait for X's review. Meanwhile you get Premium+ benefits, but not the gold checkmark or affiliates.
- When X emails to say you're approved, your account is verified straight away.
- On Full Access, open the Premium Business portal (web only) to add affiliates.

How do affiliate badges work?
Affiliation is a Full Access feature. In the portal, select Add accounts, search for the account, then select Send Invite. The person gets an email and push notification and appears under Pending until they accept; then they get a checkmark and your affiliate badge immediately. Individuals get a blue checkmark and organisations a gold one. To remove an affiliate, select the remove button next to the account and confirm. X says you keep being billed for a removed affiliate until the end of that account's next billing cycle.

Is Premium Business worth it for a small business?
For most small businesses, probably not at $200 a month or more. The gold checkmark mainly helps when people might confuse you with an impersonator, or when you have many staff or brand accounts to vouch for. A cheaper alternative is an individual X Premium plan: X's Premium page lists web prices starting at $3 a month in the US, with the blue checkmark in the $8 Premium tier. X also says new subscribers now start on The X Subscription, which bundles X benefits with other products, so check x.com for the plan you'll actually be offered.
A free Professional Account is worth doing first either way. It adds a business category and profile spotlights, and costs nothing.

Where does Zolyp fit? (Disclosure: Zolyp is our product)
A checkmark says who you are; it doesn't fill your timeline. Zolyp plans, writes, designs and schedules on-brand posts for X and the other platforms you connect, so a verified account also looks active. It doesn't buy or manage X subscriptions or verification for you.
Common questions
How much is a gold checkmark on X?
Gold checkmarks come with Premium Business. X's help centre lists US prices of $200 a month for Basic and $1,000 a month for Full Access, plus tax and fees, and says prices vary by region and may change.
Is X Verified Organizations the same as Premium Business?
Yes, in practice. X's old Verified Organizations help page now redirects to Premium Business, which verifies organisations with a gold checkmark. Governments use Premium Organizations, which carries a grey checkmark.
Can a small business get verified on X without Premium Business?
Not with a gold checkmark. An individual X Premium subscription can give the account a blue checkmark after review, and a free Professional Account adds business features without a checkmark.
How much does Premium Organizations cost for a government account?
X's help centre lists the Premium Organizations Full Access tier at $1,000 a month or $10,000 a year in the US, plus $50 a month or $600 a year for each extra affiliate, plus tax and fees. X also offers custom plans for government bodies.
What is an affiliate badge on X?
A small copy of an organisation's profile picture shown next to an affiliated account's checkmark. Full Access subscribers can invite related accounts, such as staff or sub-brands, and the badge appears once they accept.
