What do free and Premium accounts show?

LinkedIn's comparison:

  • LinkedIn's pages differ here. The comparison page lists some insights for free accounts, while its access and Premium pages say viewer insights are only for Premium subscribers.
  • Its private mode page also says Premium members browsing privately still see viewers from the last 90 days, not 365.

Why do some viewers show as LinkedIn Member?

Each viewer's own setting decides what you see:

  • Premium can't reveal private mode viewers, and you can't block them.
  • Someone you've blocked still counts toward your viewer total if they viewed you before the block, but their details aren't shown.

How do you view profiles privately?

To control what others see when you view them:

  1. Click the Me icon and select Settings & Privacy.
  2. Click Visibility in the left pane.
  3. Under Visibility of your profile & network, click Visibility when viewing other profiles.
  4. Choose Your name and headline, Private profile characteristics or Private mode. It saves automatically.
  • On a free account, private mode also hides your own viewer list. You must choose Your name and headline to see who viewed you.
  • Opening someone's mini profile from a search suggestion counts as a view and may notify them.

Can you see who visited your company Page?

Partly. Page admins get visitor analytics under Analytics, then Visitors: page views, unique visitors, custom button clicks and visitor demographics.

  • Visitor details are limited to up to one new visitor a day when eligible members visit.
  • Visitors who turn off their Page visit visibility setting never appear, even on Premium.
