How to use X Pro (formerly TweetDeck)

X Pro is X's multi-column dashboard. X says the current version adds a full post composer, advanced search, new column types and Decks, which group columns into separate workspaces.

X's Premium page lists access to X Pro under features for the Premium+ tier only. X Pro's own help pages don't name a plan. It isn't available on mobile, and X says your browser window must be wider and taller than 500 pixels.

To remove an account, click your profile photo, switch to that account and click Log out. X says Account Switching isn't the same as sharing access with a team: for that, use Delegate.

1. Go to the X Pro website and log in. X recommends an X account that isn't shared with other people.
2. Click your profile photo in the navigation bar.
3. Click Manage accounts, then Add an existing account.
4. Enter the other account's username or email and password.

Column types include Home, Notifications, Search, Lists, Communities, Explore, Bookmarked posts, Profiles, Messages (one account) and Scheduled. You can also click an account's username to build a column from its mentions, Lists, collections or likes. The newer version adds topics and events columns and lets you show top or latest posts first.

1. Select Add column in the navigation bar, or press A.
2. Choose the column type.
3. To remove one, click the filter icon in the column header, then Delete column.
4. To reorder, drag the six-dot icon at the top of a column.

Add a Scheduled column to see and edit what's queued. X notes that, in a shared setup, all scheduled posts for connected accounts are visible to anyone with access. X Pro can't schedule Direct Messages.

1. Click post.
2. Check the right account is selected.
3. Write the post and add media with Add images or video.
4. Click Schedule post and pick the date and time.
5. Click Schedule post at your chosen date and time.

• Column filters: narrow any column by keywords, media, dates, language, location, specific users or List members, and minimum reposts, likes or replies
• Alerts: sound or desktop notifications when a column gets new posts
• Search operators such as from:, to:, filter:replies, min_faves:10 and since:yyyy-mm-dd, to watch mentions of your business
• Collections: public, shareable groups of public posts, which you can embed on a website
• Lists: create, edit and turn Lists into columns
• Mutes: account mutes made in X Pro also apply on x.com and the X apps
• Shortcuts: A adds a column, S searches, N writes a post, and ? shows the full list

• Columns won't load: sign out and back in, delete and re-add the column, then update your browser
• Columns or accounts have disappeared: check which account you're logged in with in the side navigation
• It won't open on your phone: X Pro isn't available on mobile or in windows under 500 pixels
• Your old setup is missing: the new version offers a one-time copy of search, List and profile columns, and changes in one version don't carry over to the other
• You can't schedule a DM: X Pro doesn't support it
• Still stuck: X asks you to tag @Pro for support
