How to pin or feature a post on LinkedIn

LinkedIn has three related options:

• Company Pages can't use the profile Featured section. It's for individual profiles only.

From the post itself, a super admin clicks the More icon and selects Feature. Or, from the admin view:

1. Go to your Page's super admin view.
2. Click Edit page in the left menu.
3. Click the Featured tab.
4. Click Manage featured.
5. Click Select below the post you want to feature.

• You can't feature job posts, event posts or posts targeted at a specific audience.
• Pasting a post URL from a personal profile features it on that profile, not on the Page.

While the option lasts, a super or content admin can:

1. Go to the Page's admin view and click Page posts.
2. Click the Posts tab.
3. Click the More icon on the post.
4. Select Pin to top. Select Un-pin from top to undo it.

• A pinned post shows Pinned in its corner and moves to the top of the Posts and Recent posts sections.
• Any audience targeting on the post is ignored once it's pinned.
• Unpinning returns the post to its usual place. It doesn't delete it.

On desktop:

1. Click the Me icon, then View Profile.
2. Click Add profile section.
3. Open Recommended and select Add Featured.
4. Click the Add icon on the Featured page.
5. Choose posts, articles, links or media and follow the prompts.
6. Click Save or Done.

• To reorder, edit, remove or delete, click the Edit icon on your Featured section. Reordering needs at least two items.
• Remove from Featured takes an item out of the section but keeps the post in your Activity. Delete removes it from your profile.
• You can also add one of your posts from its More menu.
• In the app: tap your profile photo, View profile, Add section, Recommended, then Add featured.

Common causes:

• Your Featured section follows your profile visibility. If your posts are limited to connections, only connections see them there.
