Can you go LIVE on TikTok from a computer?
Yes, but not from the browser alone. TikTok says that to go LIVE on a web browser you must download LIVE Studio (Windows) or OBS Studio (Linux, macOS or Windows). Moderators don't need either app to moderate a LIVE from a web browser.
On the web, moderation settings sit behind the Settings button in the LIVE chat panel, under Moderation settings.

How do you moderate comments on a TikTok LIVE?
Set moderation up before you start, so you aren't managing comments and talking at the same time. In the app:
- Tap the Add post + button, then LIVE.
- Tap Settings.
- Under Moderators, add the people who will help you manage the chat. Under Audience controls, you can limit the LIVE to viewers aged 18 or over.
- Tap Go LIVE.
- For comment filters, blocked keywords, muted and blocked accounts, tap More at the bottom, then Settings.
- During a LIVE, tap a viewer's profile in the chat (or their comment), then More, to report the comment, mute them for a set time, block them from watching, or add them as a moderator.
- Moderators only get the permissions the creator gives them.

- In the TikTok app, tap Profile at the bottom.
- Tap the Menu button (three lines) at the top, then TikTok Studio.
- Tap LIVE at the top, then LIVE recordings.
- Find the replay and tap Download, Clip or Delete.

Why can't you go LIVE on TikTok?
TikTok's answer is short: only creators who meet the eligibility requirements can go LIVE. If you meet them and still can't, report the problem to TikTok from the app.
- Check your age and follower count against the requirements above, remembering the follower rule can differ by region.
- Check that LIVE is offered in your country.
- No comments showing? You may have turned LIVE comments off, or filtered comments, blocked keywords, or muted or blocked a viewer.
- Viewers whose comments are reported and break the Community Guidelines can lose the ability to post LIVE comments, typically for 24 to 48 hours.

Where Zolyp fits (from the team behind this guide)
Zolyp, which publishes this guide, is an AI social media manager: it plans, writes, designs and schedules posts for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Google Business, X, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, and Threads, and you approve the week before anything goes out. A LIVE happens in real time inside the TikTok app, so you run it there. The posts around it, such as the one telling followers when you'll be LIVE, are the part it can plan and write for you.
