How to bookmark posts on X (Twitter)

X's page has the same steps for iOS, Android and desktop.

1. From your timeline, tap a post to open it.
2. Tap the Bookmark icon.
3. X confirms the post is bookmarked and offers to show all your bookmarks.
4. To find them later, open Bookmarks in the navigation menu.

To clear everything, tap the more icon at the top of your Bookmarks timeline and remove all bookmarks at once. X's page doesn't describe a way to undo that.

1. Open Bookmarks from the navigation menu.
2. Open the post you want to remove.
3. Tap the Bookmark icon in the post details.

Folders are a paid feature. X's Premium how-to page says Premium allows unlimited bookmarks and folders, which are always private, and every bookmark is also kept in All Bookmarks. X's Premium overview lists bookmark folders among the Basic tier's features, which carry into the higher tiers. You can also open Bookmarks, tap the New Folder icon at the bottom, enter a name and tap Create.

1. Bookmark a post. Every folder starts from a bookmark.
2. Tap the blue Add to Folder button that appears.
3. Tap Create a new Bookmark Folder and name it.

To take a post out of a folder, follow the first three steps and tap Remove from Folder.

1. From the side navigation, tap Bookmarks, then All Bookmarks.
2. Tap the Share post icon under the post.
3. Choose Bookmark to Folder.
4. Tap an existing folder, or Create a new Bookmark Folder.
5. A notification confirms it's saved.

• Keep posts you might quote or reply to when you have something useful to add
• Collect ideas for your own posts, with a folder per theme if you subscribe
• Queue posts for a Space: X says hosts and speakers can use bookmarks to organise the posts they want to share
• Use Lists, not bookmarks, to follow groups of accounts. X notes Lists are discoverable, while bookmarks are private

• No Add to Folder button: folders need a paid X subscription
• You can't find your saved posts: X keeps them in the Bookmarks tab of the navigation menu
• A post is still in All Bookmarks after you removed it from a folder: Remove from Folder only takes it out of that folder. Tap the Bookmark icon to delete the bookmark itself
• All your bookmarks are gone: someone may have removed them all from the more icon at the top of the Bookmarks timeline
• You want bookmarks in a dashboard: X Pro has a Bookmarked posts column
