What costs extra?

Both sell their biggest extras through a demo rather than on the page. Sprout's add-ons (Premium Analytics, Listening, Employee Advocacy and professional services) are available from Standard. Agorapulse's are Advanced Listening, Advocacy and Competitive Benchmarking, plus X publishing as X Lite or X Plus.

Agorapulse also charges for profiles beyond 10 on its self-serve plans. On Sprout, the move from 5 profiles to unlimited means moving every seat to Professional.

  • Not sure? Both offer 30 days free with no card, so you can run them side by side.

A third option: Zolyp (disclosed: it's our product)

Sprout and Agorapulse are built for teams that publish, reply and report. Zolyp, which we make, makes the posts: it plans the week, writes and designs each one against your Brand Brain, and publishes to Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Google Business, X, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, and Threads after you approve. It has no inbox, review replies or listening, so either tool fits a customer care team better. Lite is $9 a month per brand for scheduling posts you make yourself; the plans that create the posts start at $29 a month, with team members included and a 3-day free trial, no card required.
