What's limited on the Hootsuite free trial?
The trial is 14 days with no credit card, and you aren't charged when it ends. Hootsuite notes that trial accounts have a daily posting limit of 10 to 20 posts per organisation, depending on the plan, and that bulk scheduling isn't available during the trial.

Is Hootsuite worth it?
Hootsuite suits teams that handle a lot of messages and need listening, competitor benchmarking and approvals in one place. Approvals and message routing only arrive on the Advanced plan, so team workflows get expensive quickly.
For a small business posting a few times a week, the inbox and listening often go unused, and planning, writing and designing each post still falls to you.
Zolyp: when making the posts is the problem
Zolyp is our product, so weigh this section with that in mind. A lot of small businesses move to Hootsuite hoping a bigger tool will make them post more. Most tools here, like the one you're leaving, move a finished post onto a calendar. If the hard part of your week is deciding what to post and then writing and designing it, a different kind of tool fits better.
Zolyp plans the week across your content themes, writes the captions and designs the visuals against your Brand Brain (your tone, colours and rules, saved once), fits each post to its platform, and publishes to Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Google Business, X, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, and Threads. You approve the week in minutes. Lite is $9 a month per brand for scheduling your own posts; the plans that create the posts start at $29 a month, with a 3-day free trial and no card required.
Cheaper alternatives to Hootsuite
For scheduling alone, Buffer and Publer start at a few dollars per channel or account, and Metricool and Buffer have free plans. See our guide to the best Hootsuite alternatives for a side-by-side table with checked prices.
