Why should a business download its X archive?
Our view: once a year, and always before big account changes. The archive is your own copy of every post, image and message, which helps if the account is ever compromised, suspended or closed, and makes it easy to find old posts worth repurposing. X notes you must request it before deactivating. Your X Data, the same settings section, is also where X says you can view and export your list of blocked accounts.

Why can't you download your X archive?
- Your email address isn't confirmed. X asks you to confirm it before requesting the archive
- You're in a different browser. Download while logged in to X on the same browser you're using for the download
- It isn't ready yet. X says preparing the archive can take a few days
- You weren't sent a code. If there's no email address or phone number on file, X sends you to the Account information page to add one

Where does Zolyp fit? (Disclosure: Zolyp is our product)
An archive shows which old posts are worth reusing. Zolyp plans and writes new X posts around your content pillars, and its Friday report shows what worked, so the next archive has more worth keeping. There's a 3-day free trial, no card required.
