How to change your address or move your map pin on Google Business Profile

1. Go to your Business Profile, signed in to the Google Account that manages it.
2. Select Edit profile, then Location.
3. Next to Business location, select the edit icon.
4. Enter the full address, including any building, unit, suite or floor.
5. Select Save.

1. Open the Google Maps app.
2. Tap Business at the bottom right.
3. Tap Edit profile, then Location.
4. Next to Business location, tap Edit.
5. Enter your address details and tap Save.

Google says to set a pin when your address has no street number or it can't find your business at the address you entered. Its help page gives the steps for the web profile; the phone menus may differ.

1. Select Edit profile, then Location.
2. Next to Business location, select the edit icon.
3. Select Adjust.
4. Move the map so the pin sits on your business.
5. Select Done, then Save.

• Use your real, precise address. Put the street address on line 1 and a suite or unit number on line 2.
• Only add cross streets or landmarks where the official address doesn't pinpoint you. Avoid descriptions like "Corner of" or "Across from".
• No URLs or keywords in the address lines.
• P.O. boxes, remote mailboxes and virtual offices aren't eligible. A coworking space only counts if it has clear signage and your staff receive customers there during business hours.
• If you show your address, you need permanent signage with your business name there.
• Only hide your address if you're a service-area business.

• Google says that if you move to a new address after verification, you must verify your business again.
• Google's guidelines allow one profile per location, so update your existing profile rather than adding a second one.

Check these:

• Google can't match it. Re-enter the parts highlighted in red, then use Adjust to set a pin if it still fails.
• It's in review. Changes usually take about 10 minutes but can take up to 30 days.
• You're asked to verify again. That's expected after a move; follow the steps on your profile.
• Your address is hidden. Your profile then shows only your service area.
• You're inside another business, such as a shopping centre. Google says to ask for this to be shown through its contact page.
• Street View or satellite images are out of date. Report them with Google's form; Google gives no timeline for updates.
