Why do people look for an Agorapulse alternative?
Agorapulse is a full social suite with a strong inbox for comments, messages and Google reviews. People usually look elsewhere because of:
- Price per user: Standard is $79 a month per user billed yearly ($99 monthly), Professional $119 ($149) and Advanced $149 ($199). Every extra person adds the full price again.
- A 10-profile limit on every self-serve plan. Extra profiles cost more each month; unlimited profiles need a Custom plan.
- Approvals start on Professional, and multi-step approval chains come only with a Custom plan.
- X is sold separately, as the X Lite or X Plus add-on, through Agorapulse's team.
- Post and inbox data is kept for 6 months on Standard, 12 on Professional and 24 on Advanced.

Sendible: an inbox with unlimited users
Sendible prices by workspace rather than by person, and every plan includes unlimited users. Core is $35 a month for one workspace with 6 social profiles, unlimited scheduling, unlimited AI credits, bulk scheduling, and monitoring and replying. Approvals and assignment start on Plus, $99 a month for 3 workspaces and 18 profiles. Paying yearly saves 15%, and the free trial is 14 days with no card.
Best for: agencies and teams who want everyone in the tool without paying per seat. Reporting is lighter at the entry level: Core has standard reports, and custom branded reports start on Premium at $199 a month.

Zoho Social: the lowest price with an inbox
Zoho Social charges per brand, not per user. Its free plan covers one brand and one user, with one account each on Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn (a page and a profile) and Google Business Profile. Standard is $10 a month billed yearly. Professional ($30) adds bulk scheduling, messages, a monitoring dashboard and post insights. Premium ($40) adds the inbox, content approvals, custom reports and 3 team members; extra members are $10 each a month billed yearly.
Best for: a small business or solo marketer who wants an inbox and approvals at a fraction of Agorapulse's price. New accounts get a 15-day trial with no card, then move to the free plan.

Vista Social: inbox plus review management
Vista Social bundles publishing, a social inbox, reports and review management. Professional is $950 a year billed yearly for 15 social profiles and 2 users, with 1,000 AI credits a month. Advanced, $1,910 a year, raises that to 30 profiles and 3 users and adds more detailed approval workflows. X is a $29-a-month add-on. Listening on your own profiles is included; listening across social, web and news starts at $75 a month. The trial is 14 days with no card.
Best for: local and multi-location businesses that answer Google and Facebook reviews alongside comments.

Sprout Social: if you're moving up, not down
If you want more than Agorapulse rather than less, Sprout Social is the closest like-for-like suite. Essentials is $79 per seat a month billed yearly ($99 monthly) for 5 profiles, with optimal send times and post reporting. The consolidated inbox, keyword monitoring and review management start on Standard, $199 per seat a month on annual billing. There's a 30-day trial with no card.
Best for: larger teams that want deep reporting and add-ons such as listening and employee advocacy. It's priced per seat too, so it won't cut costs.

Buffer: if you mainly publish
If you bought a suite and mostly use its calendar, Buffer costs far less. Its free plan covers 3 channels with 10 scheduled posts each at a time. Essentials is $5 per channel a month billed yearly ($6 monthly). Team, $10 per channel ($12 monthly), adds unlimited team members, access levels and approval workflows. Every plan includes a community inbox for replying to comments.
Best for: owners and small teams who publish to a few channels and don't need a full engagement suite.

Zolyp: when making the posts is the problem
Zolyp is our product, so weigh this section with that in mind. Agorapulse is built for teams that handle conversations all day; if your bottleneck is having something to post, that's a different job. Most tools here, like the one you're leaving, move a finished post onto a calendar. If the hard part of your week is deciding what to post and then writing and designing it, a different kind of tool fits better.
Zolyp plans the week across your content themes, writes the captions and designs the visuals against your Brand Brain (your tone, colours and rules, saved once), fits each post to its platform, and publishes to Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Google Business, X, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, and Threads. You approve the week in minutes. Lite is $9 a month per brand for scheduling your own posts; the plans that create the posts start at $29 a month, with a 3-day free trial and no card required.
Zolyp has no social inbox, listening or review management, so it doesn't replace Agorapulse for replying. If replies are the main job, pick one of the tools above.
How do you choose?
Start from the job you actually do most weeks:
- You reply to lots of comments and messages and want several people in the tool: Sendible, or Zoho Social Premium on a tighter budget.
- You answer reviews as well as comments: Vista Social.
- You need enterprise reporting and can pay per seat: Sprout Social.
- You mostly schedule: Buffer.
- You struggle to make the posts in the first place: an AI social media manager, which plans and writes posts rather than only queueing them.

How do you switch tools without missing a post?
A clean switch takes an afternoon:
- Export or write down everything still scheduled in your current tool, with dates and times. Download any reports you want to keep, too.
- Connect the same accounts in the new tool and check each one can publish.
- Recreate the scheduled posts there, checking the time zone setting first.
- Pause or empty the old queue so nothing goes out twice.
- Watch the first few posts go live before you cancel the old plan. On a yearly plan, check when it renews.
