Why do people look for a Post Planner alternative?

Post Planner helps you find content to share, rotate posts by bucket and recycle top performers. People usually look elsewhere because of:

  • A small free plan: 1 account, 1 user, 10 scheduled posts and 1 AI image a month, without X or Pinterest.
  • X and Pinterest require Growth or higher, $39 a month billed yearly ($59 monthly).
  • Scheduled post caps: 150 on Starter and 1,500 on Growth; unlimited from Business ($69 billed yearly).
  • Few users: 1 on Starter, 2 on Growth and 5 on Business.
  • Unlimited buckets start on Growth.

Zolyp: when making the posts is the problem

Zolyp is our product, so weigh this section with that in mind. Post Planner helps you find, rotate and recycle content. If you'd rather post original content that you didn't have to write or design, that's a different kind of tool.

Zolyp plans the week across your content themes, writes the captions and designs the visuals against your Brand Brain (your tone, colours and rules, saved once), fits each post to its platform, and publishes to Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Google Business, X, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, and Threads. You approve the week in minutes, and once a content pillar needs few edits you can hand it to Autopilot, with a veto window to pull any post before it goes out. Lite is $9 a month per brand for scheduling your own posts; the plans that create the posts start at $29 a month, with a 3-day free trial and no card required.

How do you choose?

Decide what Post Planner is missing for you:

  • Help writing the posts, with categories: SocialBee.
  • No post caps and lots of RSS: Publer.
  • X or Pinterest on a free plan: Buffer.
  • Analytics on what you share: Metricool.
  • Repeat posting for one brand at a flat price: Zoho Social.
  • Original posts made for you: an AI social media manager.

What should you check before you switch?

Your buckets and recycled posts are the main thing to move:

  • Export or copy the posts in each bucket, and note how often each one posts.
  • List the content sources and RSS feeds you curate from.
  • Check the new tool's limits on scheduled posts and users against how you post today.

How do you switch tools without missing a post?

A clean switch takes an afternoon:

  1. Export or write down everything still scheduled in your current tool, with dates and times. Download any reports you want to keep, too.
  2. Connect the same accounts in the new tool and check each one can publish.
  3. Recreate the scheduled posts there, checking the time zone setting first.
  4. Pause or empty the old queue so nothing goes out twice.
  5. Watch the first few posts go live before you cancel the old plan. On a yearly plan, check when it renews.
