TikTok Instant Page: how to create a landing page in Ads Manager

An Instant Page opens inside TikTok when someone taps your ad. People can watch videos, swipe carousels and tap buttons through to your website or app. You can optimise delivery towards actions on the page, such as button clicks.

TikTok's steps, starting at the ad level of your campaign:

1. Select Single Video as the ad format.
2. In the Destination page section, click +Create, or +From library to reuse one.
3. Pick a template, such as Products for sale, Brand story, Multi-Destination or a custom page, and click Confirm.
4. Click the pencil icon, name the page and choose a light or dark colour scheme.
5. Click +Add a component and add what you need: header, button, image, text, carousel or coupon.
6. Click Save to keep a draft, or Complete to add the page to your ad.
7. Finish the ad and click Submit.

Each component does one job:

• Header: your logo or a title. It always sits at the top at a fixed size.
• Button: sends people to your website or app. You can turn on a button click conversion event to optimise towards it.
• Image: can link to a website or app.
• Text: one style and margin per text block. Add another text component for different formatting.
• Carousel: a slideshow of up to 10 images you can drag to reorder, each with its own link.
• Coupon: a percentage discount with an optional code to redeem on your website.

Only images, videos and carousels have file requirements:

• TikTok's pages disagree on carousels: the builder guide describes a carousel of up to 10 images, while the specs page lists video formats for carousels. Follow what the builder accepts when you upload.

The option only appears in supported setups. Check these:

• Objective: Instant Pages aren't available for app install or lead generation objectives.
• Promotion type: app promotion ad groups don't support them. For Traffic and Conversions, the promotion type must be Website.
• Optimisation event: TikTok's builder path uses a button click as the optimisation event.
• Placement: TikTok must be included, manually or through automatic placement.
• Ad format: the builder guide starts from Single Video.
