How to connect Google Business Profile to Google Analytics

• Google Analytics: the Editor or Administrator role on the GA4 property.
• Business Profile: owner or manager access to each profile you want to link.
• The link is made in Google Analytics, not in Business Profile.
• Subproperties in Analytics aren't supported.

1. Open your Google Analytics property and go to Admin.
2. Under Product links, click Google Business Profile links.
3. Click Link.
4. Follow the prompts to choose the Business Profiles you manage and want to link.
5. Review the data sharing information and confirm.

• One Analytics property can be linked to several profiles.
• While the link is active, a banner on your Business Profile performance page says aggregated data is being shared.

A Google Business Profile collection appears in your reports, with cards summarising these aggregated metrics:

• Interactions, website clicks, calls and directions.
• Messages, bookings and menu clicks.
• Data covers the last 6 months, even if you pick a longer date range.
• With several profiles linked, you see the total for all of them.
• Analytics shows every metric whatever your business type, unlike the Business Profile performance page, which hides ones that don't apply.

• Our suggestion: if you need one location's numbers, use that profile's own performance report, or add UTM parameters to each profile's website link so the visits show separately in Analytics.

Links can only be deleted in Google Analytics, by someone with the Editor or Administrator role.

1. In Admin, under Product links, click Google Business Profile links.
2. Find the link in the table.
3. Click the three-dot menu for that link.
4. Click Delete.

Check these:

• There's no Google Business Profile collection. It only appears while a link exists.
• You can't create the link. Check your Analytics role is Editor or Administrator and that you're an owner or manager of the profile.
• You're using a subproperty. The integration doesn't support subproperties.
• An address change hasn't come through. Google says address changes reach Analytics after a short delay.
