Why can't you change comment settings or post comments?
If you're under 18, different comment settings apply. TikTok points to its privacy and safety settings for users under 18 for details.
- Filter all comments is missing: TikTok says it isn't available to everyone yet.
- Everyone isn't an option: it's only for public accounts. Followers is only for private accounts.
- Commenting is blocked with an alert: you may have been commenting too quickly. Wait 24 hours and try again.
- Comments won't post: check you're logged in, switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data, clear the app cache, restart, and update the app.
- You can't delete a comment you posted: that isn't possible if the post is private or the Story has expired.

Where Zolyp fits (from the team behind this guide)
Zolyp, which publishes this guide, is an AI social media manager: it plans, writes, designs and schedules posts for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Google Business, X, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, and Threads, and you approve the week before anything goes out. It doesn't moderate TikTok comments, so these filters are still the tool for that. A practical habit: add your keyword list before a busy launch or promotion goes live.
