What's the difference between Super Thanks and Super Chat?
YouTube groups them as Supers:

Who can turn on Supers?
These are Partner Program features. You also need to:
- Be 18 or older and live in an available location. Super Thanks is offered in 99 locations.
- Accept the Commerce Product Module (you and your network, if you have one).
- For Super Thanks, not have the channel set as made for kids or a significant number of made for kids or ineligible videos, and not be a music channel under an SRAV contract.

How do you turn on Super Thanks and Super Chat?
On a computer:
- Sign in to YouTube Studio.
- In the left menu, click Earn.
- Click the Supers tab. It only appears if your channel is eligible.
- Click Get started and follow the on-screen steps.
- On your first visit, sign the Commerce Product Module.
- Switch on Super Thanks, Super Chat and Super Stickers as you want them.
- Super Thanks then applies to all eligible past and future videos and Shorts.
- In the YouTube Studio app, tap Earn, then the Supers card, or Get started in the Supers section, then Turn on.
- If a third party manages your rights, check with them first.

Which videos can't use Supers?
Even with Supers on, these won't show them:
- Super Thanks: age-restricted, unlisted, private or made for kids videos, videos with copyright claims or YouTube Giving fundraisers, and videos with comments turned off.
- Super Thanks doesn't run on live streams or Premieres while they're live, but does on the archived version afterwards.
- Super Chat and Super Stickers: age-restricted, unlisted, private or made for kids videos, videos with YouTube Giving fundraisers, and streams with live chat or comments off.

Where do you see Supers earnings, and why might they be missing?
In YouTube Analytics, select Revenue, then the How you make money card, then Supers. YouTube says creators get 70% of Super Thanks revenue after taxes and fees, including iOS App Store fees, and covers transaction costs such as card fees. To see who bought one, filter comments by From Super Thanks.
