The best AI social media manager tools in 2026

The best AI social media manager depends on how much of the job you want handed over. Buffer and Hootsuite add an AI writing assistant to a scheduler. Predis.ai and Ocoya generate posts, graphics and video for you to review and schedule. Apaya and Zolyp (this article's own product, disclosed upfront) go furthest: they learn your brand, create the posts, and publish them on a schedule you approve. Every price below was checked on the vendor's own pricing page on 9 October 2026.

What is an AI social media manager?

An AI social media manager is software that does the recurring work of the role: planning what to post, writing the captions, designing the visuals, scheduling, publishing, and reporting on results. A scheduler only queues content you've already made. Most tools on the market sit somewhere between the two, so the useful question isn't "does it have AI?" but "which parts of the week does it actually take off my plate?"

  • Does it decide what to post, or wait for you to bring an idea?
  • Does it write and design, or only write?
  • Does it publish to the networks you use, or hand you files to post yourself?
  • Can you approve posts before they go out, and hand off more once you trust it?
  • Does the price scale by brand, by channel, by user, or by AI credits?

Zolyp: plans, creates and publishes, with your approval

Zolyp is our product, so weigh this section with that in mind. It plans a content calendar around your content pillars, writes each caption and designs each visual against your Brand Brain (your tone, colors, audience and banned topics, remembered once), fits every post to the platform it's going to, and publishes to Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Google Business, X, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, and Threads. You review and approve the week in a few minutes.

Every account starts in review-everything mode. Autopilot lets you hand a content pillar over once its posts have earned it, with a veto window before anything goes live. AI plans start at $29 a month, Lite schedules posts you bring for $9 a month per brand, and there's a 3-day free trial with no card.

Predis.ai: AI ads, videos and carousels

Predis.ai is built around making creatives: ads, short videos, carousels and single images with captions and hashtags, plus competitor analysis. Plans are sized by AI credits and brands. Core is $32 a month ($24 a month billed yearly) for one brand and 1,300 credits, but it doesn't include auto posting. Auto posting starts on Rise, $79 a month ($55 a month billed yearly) for up to four brands. Every plan starts with a 3-day trial that needs a card.

It suits a brand whose bottleneck is producing visuals and ads at volume. Deciding the plan behind them is still mostly yours.

Ocoya: AI writing and design, scheduled months ahead

Ocoya writes, designs and schedules content across your networks from a one-line idea, generates images, carousels and short video, and translates captions into 37 languages, with everything ready for you to review before it posts. Starter is $29 a month for one user, five social profiles and 300 AI credits; Team is $79 a month for five users and 20 profiles. There's a 7-day free trial, and yearly billing gives two months free.

It's a good fit for a creator or small team that wants a lot of AI-made content queued quickly and is comfortable reviewing it in bulk.

Apaya: a brand framework from your website

Apaya learns your voice, audience, colors and style from your website to build a brand framework, generates on-brand posts and whole campaigns, and its Post Autopilot schedules and publishes them across your connected channels. Spark is $69 a month ($55 a month billed yearly) for one brand, four social accounts and one user. Analytics and team collaboration start on Blaze, $129 a month.

Of the tools here it's the closest to Zolyp's own approach. The differences are in how the plan is built and how autonomy is handed over, which our Zolyp vs Apaya comparison sets out side by side.

Sintra: a social media helper inside an AI bundle

Sintra sells a bundle of twelve AI "helpers" for different jobs, and Soshie is the one for social media. You can't buy Soshie alone: Sintra X includes all twelve, with 250 monthly credits, at a list price of $97 a month, which was discounted to $48.50 for a one-month plan when we checked. It comes with a 14-day money-back guarantee.

It makes sense if you want AI help across support, email, SEO and social in one subscription. If social media is the only job, a dedicated tool covers more of it.

Buffer and Hootsuite: schedulers with AI writing built in

Buffer includes its AI Assistant on every plan, even the free one (three channels, 10 scheduled posts per channel). Essentials is $5 a month per channel billed yearly. Hootsuite's Standard plan is $99 a month per user for up to ten accounts and includes generating posts and images with AI, with a 14-day trial and no card.

Both are excellent schedulers. Their AI helps you write faster, but you still decide what to post, make the visuals and fill the calendar.

How do you choose an AI social media manager?

Start from the part of the week that's actually stuck, then check the price for your real setup:

  1. Name the bottleneck: ideas, writing, design, or remembering to post.
  2. Count your brands and channels, because most of these tools price by one or the other.
  3. Check that the tool publishes to every network you rely on, Google Business and Threads included.
  4. Make sure you can approve posts before they go out, at least for the first month.
  5. Run a trial on a real week of posts, not a demo prompt, and judge the output by whether you'd publish it unchanged.

Common questions

What is the best AI social media manager?

It depends on the job. For writing help inside a scheduler, Buffer and Hootsuite. For producing creatives at volume, Predis.ai or Ocoya. For a tool that plans, creates and publishes a week you approve, Apaya or Zolyp (our product).

Is there a free AI social media manager?

Buffer's free plan includes its AI Assistant for up to three channels, but it's a scheduler that helps you write. Tools that plan and create the posts for you are paid, with free trials or a money-back guarantee.

How much does an AI social media manager cost?

For one brand, the plans here start at $29 a month for Ocoya Starter, $29 for Zolyp's AI plans and $69 for Apaya Spark. Predis.ai's auto posting starts at $79 a month, or $55 billed yearly. Prices were checked on 9 October 2026.

Can AI run my social media on its own?

Some tools can publish on a schedule without you touching each post, including Apaya's Post Autopilot and Zolyp's Autopilot. Starting with approval on every post is still wise until the output consistently sounds like you.

Is Zolyp an AI social media manager?

Yes. Zolyp plans, writes, designs and publishes your social content to 9 platforms, and you approve the week before it goes out.
